Sterea Hellas olive groves
A traditional village in Sterea Hellas. Note that the church is at the highest point of the village. These are the famous olive groves of Amfissa. Amfissa is a town well known for the production of olive oil and it surrounded by a large area full of olive trees. (Incidentally, the ancient town of Delphi known for its oracle is also nearby).

Mt. Parnassos Rainbow
Chacha braves the hail to take a good look at Mt. Parnassos (mostly known for its ski resort). After the hail and rain stopped, a nice rainbow came out.

Lamia
Finally, a view of the sea again, this time near the town of Lamia.

Volos pier
View from the pier at Volos. There are always people walking along the pier, especially in the evenings and on the weekends. Along its side one can find many cafes and restaurants that serve tsipouro (very strong distilled spirit) and accompanying mezedes (hors d'oeuvres in incredible quantities).

St. Constantine church beach
St. Constantine church, on the pier. Chacha at the beach.

Byzantine style church Byzantine style church in Volos. Chacha can barely see Mt. Pelion in the back. According to legend, this was the land of centaurs. Now, it is best known for its picturesque villages of distinct architecture and the wonderful beaches at the feet of the mountain on the other side.
